A few months ago I hit a pothole in my V60 hard enough to turn the wipers on and bend both front wheels. The wheels I have are known to be soft and I like a change every now and then, so I am looking for some help deciding which new wheels to go with. The car is black with some bronze/brown undertones and currently has the wheels shown. I like then, but they are expensive, heavy and prone to bend.

Here is option #1 which is the most expensive @ $1450 for the set.

Option #2 $1000

#3 $1000

#3 $1000

And the cheap option @ $700ish (could also get Sparco Assetto Gara’s for the same price)

Or should I just have the two bent wheels fixed by a mobile wheel guy and call it a day? Anyone have any experience getting wheels straightened?

You just reminded me that I have at least one wheel in need of straighten.  Anyway considering our uncertain times, I would go with straighten since balancing all wheels and alignment will have to happen.  But, I'm digging those Focals (last photo).

So the straightening works? I shouldn't be concerned? It just seems like witchcraft to me.

No, I haven’t done it yet but will soon. Expect +/- $150 USD per rim.  This short vid might help.

I’ve had it done, they did great work and can’t even tell it was bent. Cost $120, didn’t have to take the tire off, and they even balanced it. Super easy, done within 2 hours.

All those OEM one  looks real nice, but are any down an inch? More sidewall might save you next time. My friends vo rides so nicely.

I am g oing to stick with 19's. I’ll probably spend the money and get the Polestar wheels. I’ll just kick myself if I don’t. The car has the R Design suspension with stiffer shocks and struts and lower springs so it rides a bit stiff anyway. I’m hesitant to spend money to get them straightened because they are known to be kind of soft.

I guess it's only money.
